"In A Gadda Da Vida" By Iron Butterfly was named the 24th greatest hard rock song of all time by VH1. There has been speculation as to how the song got its title. One theory is that the original title was "In The Garden Of Eden" but whilst rehearsing vocalist Doug Ingle slurred the words because he was drunk, and they stuck.
